Diastasis Recti

Your body is a miracle maker, and that means your core went through

extraordinary changes. Here’s what’s happening — and how I can

help you heal.

Common signs of abdominal separation (diastasis recti):

• A ridge or dome down the midline when trying to sit up

• Softness or a gap through the centre

• Core weakness or difficulty creating tension

• Lower back discomfort or pain

• Pelvic floor heaviness or leakage

• A tummy that still feels unsupported

• Still looking pregnant, even if you've lost your baby "weight"

These signs don’t mean you’ve done anything wrong. They simply mean your core is asking for gentle, guided support to heal.  It is most common in women who live with hypermobility, but common in most mums to varying degrees.  I have assessed 1000's of postpartum tummies over the last 20 years, and only a handful have come out of childbirth with zero separation of the muscles, so you are not alone and the future is bright.

I help mums rebuild their core safely, confidently, and with compassion. Every body heals differently — and the right approach depends on your unique pattern of abdominal separation. You don’t need to figure this out alone. This is exactly what I specialise in.

A gentle assessment fee is £20, unless you are attending a postnatal core repair course, in which assessment is included in the course fee.
